Tell me, did you survive the holidays? If you have been following along with me on social media, you know that this holiday season had its ups and downs. With all of the things that happened for our family in 2022, I was feeling pretty lonely and didn’t have much Christmas spirit. I was thinking the kids and I were going to keep things low-key and easy because I really didn’t have the bandwidth to do much of anything. But in the end, we made a full-blown mini Hallmark movie. Crazy how things change so drastically! The season ended up having an overpouring amount of Christmas spirit so I wanted to share the biggest (and best) thing I learned this holiday season.
How do you feel about bathrooms? To me, bathrooms should not be boring! Yes, they serve a purpose, but who says they can’t be fun too? One of my favorite places to create a vibe is actually in the bathroom. The space is small, but there are so many fun things you can do to start adding personality in your bathroom.
You know me, I LOVE doing DIY projects! It’s that initial spark of an idea that transforms into a creative process of planning with trial and error. I cannot get enough! There is just something about creating something yourself and letting the creative juices flow. It is my happy place. While I do LOVE all types of projects, the process isn’t always easy. It is easy to get stuck or frustrated during the stages of the project especially when you are trying something new. The key is knowing how to get unstuck on a DIY project.
