The star bathroom affordable reno is done! This room has my whole heart. Here is the BEFORE and AFTER…and thanks for following along @angelarosehome for all the fun!
And here is the before:
I mean, can you even? Here are my favorite projects in the space.
The Ceiling:
For the ceiling, I used tongue and groove pine boards. For the beams, I used select pine.
The walls with pegs:
For the walls I used these primed pine shiplap boards and pegs.
The vanity makeover:
For the vanity I used an appliance epoxy for the sink and this chalk paint in charcoal for the vanity.
And the painted floor:
For the floor, I used this Rustoleum Home Floor Paint in Steam Gray and Black. I got this pattern by first painting the white (Steam Gray). Then I taped off the grout lines with this thin tape . Using a cricut, I cut out a bunch of stars with the removable vinyl. I placed the outline of all all the vinyl stars on the floor to achieve this look and painted them with the floor paint in black. This floor paint requires their top coat, and I did 2 coats. Here is my full tutorial for How To Paint Your Tile Floor.
