I love a good accent chair! They are my favorite way to change the style of a room without switching out everything. So today, I am going to give you a round up of my favorite accent chairs for every budget…and also a few tips!

Accent Chairs to Match Any Space
TIP: When picking out an accent chair, consider the scale of the piece with the other pieces in the room. It’s a good idea to have the seat height of your chair within a few inches of the seat height of your couch. Also, make sure that the back height of the pieces are similar. Otherwise, the chairs may feel too small or large, leaving your room feeling unbalanced.
TIP: Don’t forget to consider the visual weight of your piece. I like to make sure I have a good mixture in my spaces of heavy items (for example, a couch that is low to the floor, with small legs) vs visually light items (tall thin legs). Having that mixture helps a space feel balanced.
TIP: You can move accent chairs around to support your focal point, so if that’s your fireplace, you can set them to either side to draw attention there. Accent chairs also feel like less of a commitment than a sofa or even a rug!
When I am designing a space, I always crave clean and minimalist aesthetics. I love places for your eyes to rest, and the breathing room that clean lines give to a space. I look for the same when it comes to my chairs. I love that it helps let the accent wall, giant art or pop of color really be the star (inexpensive artwork, cool accent walls and floating shelf)
