I have always wanted to build a nativity scene for my front yard. This was the year it was finally was checked off of my list. If you want a more step by step tutorial I added a highlight bubble to my Instagram page showing off the detials of this project.
First, I built the stable and sprayed it using Black Magic by Sherwin Williams.
I printed Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus images off of google, cut them out and set them up in front of a flashlight so I could make them the size that I wanted.
Then I traced those shadows onto my sheets of pine. Then I used my jigsaw to cut them out and painted them white.
Of course, I added fairly lights and stained (early american) pine to the back and bottom of the stable.
I will link everything I used to make the nativity here
